FAQs

No, you can simply use your own pan.
The EcoStoof® is flexible and suitable for all types of pans made of stainless steel, ceramic, steel, aluminum or cast iron. For pan sizes, check the relevant product in the webshop.

No. The EcoStoof® is never placed on the stove. You first bring your pot of food to a boil on the stove. As soon as everything is boiling properly, turn off the heat and place the hot pot directly into the EcoStoof®.

Place your pan with ingredients briefly on the hob and then put it in the EcoStoof®. The thick insulating jacket retains the heat from your pan. As a result, the food stays so hot that it cooks itself, just like a slow cooker – but without electricity. This way, you cook safely and energy-efficiently.

Yes, especially with the EcoStoof®, you save time in the kitchen. Preparation is short: you first bring the dish to a boil on the stove for a few minutes and then place the pan in the EcoStoof®. From that moment on, the dish continues to cook by itself, without you having to stay with it.

Most dishes are ready in the EcoStoof® within half an hour to an hour. During that time, you can do other things, as you don't need to stir or keep an eye on the heat.

For dishes that naturally require longer cooking times, such as stewed meat, the preparation time is, of course, longer. But even then, the EcoStoof® does most of the work for you, while the dish never burns and energy consumption remains minimal.

This way, you cook easily, energy-efficiently, and with more free time

Yes, absolutely! The EcoStoof® is actually the ideal match for a classic pot of stew.

Because the EcoStoof® works according to the principle of a slow cooker (slow cooking at low temperatures), the meat has all the time to become melt-in-your-mouth tender without drying out or burning. An additional advantage is that it costs no energy and you don't have to stay with it. You can safely leave the house.
